ADHD presents in various forms in children and teens from inattentive, hyperactive-impulsive, or combined of the two. Understanding the symptoms can help identify the best therapy and treatment methods. Within each subtype the specific symptoms and their severity can vary from person to person. In addition to the subtypes, ADHD can co-exist with other conditions or disorders, such as specific learning disorders (SLD), anxiety, depression, or other mood and behavioral disorders. These co-occurring conditions further influence the symptoms and the overall presentation of ADHD in a person.

At AlphaMYND Intelligence we merge alpha state MYND control training and neurofeedback to help children and teens with ADHD, and those who are ADHD-ish, overcome their challenges.

Why The Alpha Brain Wave?

Alpha brain waves are associated with a relaxed but focused state of mind, inhibitory processes, and cognitive control. They are often observed when a person is calm and attentive, such as during meditation or when engaged in a task that requires sustained focus. Enhancing alpha brain wave activity:

  • Improves attention

  • Contributes to better impulse control

  • Reduces hyperactivity

  • Reduces anxiety

  • Improves emotional regulation
