While ADHD is commonly associated with children and teens, there has been a significant increase in adults diagnosed with ADHD or borderline as they battle the challenges of being ADHD-ish. Research indicates that approximately 50% to 70% of individuals diagnosed with ADHD in childhood continue to experience its challenges and hindrances into adulthood. Many others may not receive a diagnosis until in their adulthood, despite experiencing symptoms throughout their lives.

Why The Alpha Brain Wave?

Alpha brain waves are associated with a relaxed but focused state of mind, inhibitory processes, and cognitive control. They are often observed when a person is calm and attentive, such as during meditation or when engaged in a task that requires sustained focus. Enhancing alpha brain wave activity:

  • Improves attention

  • Contributes to better impulse control

  • Reduces hyperactivity

  • Reduces anxiety

  • Improves emotional regulation
